Well Lisa's gone home for the week and im getting ready to go home tomorrow.

I will be back in Aber on Tuesday so its not too bad. Well i say bad but im quite looking forward to having a few days out of Aber to see the family. Missing Lisa already though and im actually feeling lost without her here!

Cadets is same as usual. I have recieved the final joining instructions for the Cosford two day march so it looks like the sqn is actually going. This is the first big thing i've organised for the sqn myslef as a member of staff and im feeling quite pleased about it. Just a pity i didnt put myself as Team Leader instead of the Boss and got all the credit from Wing. Now just need to sort out the webbing for the cadets and i've got to sew the Sqn badges onto the team brassards.

Also getting quite excited about the new cossacks game coming out. As a veteran Cossacks player when i heard they were making a new cossacks game i was quite pleased. Even more so when about 2 years ago i found out it would be set in the Napoleonic Era that i love so well. Check out Cossacks 2: Napoleonic Wars here: http://www.cossacks2.de/

It looks like it will be a great game with a lot more detail on campaign playing with the "Battle for Europe" mode and with much greater detail given to the period tactics used in warfare. Only worry is that my computer wont be able to run the game but hey thats what upgrades and birthday money is for!

You scored as Christianity. Your views are most similar to those of Christianity. Do more research on Christianity and possibly consider being baptized and accepting Jesus, if you aren't already Christian.

Christianity is the second of the Abrahamic faiths; it follows Judaism and is followed by Islam. It differs in its belief of Jesus, as not a prophet nor historical figure, but as God in human form. The Holy Trinity is the concept that God takes three forms: the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost (sometimes called Holy Spirit). Jesus taught the idea of instead of seeking revenge, one should love his or her neighbors and enemies. Christians believe that Jesus died on the cross to save humankind and forgive people's sins.

Just got back in from lisa's and feeling (not suprisingly quite tired lol)

Went to the Squadron last night, but thankfully it wasn't too busy a night. Wing Paperwork hadn't turned up so all i had to do really was sort out the two cadets going to the Inter-Wing football this weekend and write a letter to someone wanting to join the Sqn as an Adult Volunteer.

Afterwards the staff went to the Fountain Inn for some drinks and the Instructor (Adult Cadet) NCO's came with us. However two of them said they werent going so only FS Jones and Sgt Phillips came along. Its always nice to socialise with the other staff on the sqn outside of "work" but i had to go early because i was going to the Student Union with Lisa and her friends.

It was this girl Gemma?'s 21st birthday so they were all dressed up as policewomen which was cool. It was a bit of struggle getting a taxi up the hill since the 'queue' at the taxi rank just didnt exist and so the whole area was just swarming with students all trying to get into the same taxi's. Still it didnt take us too long and i got up there eventually lol.

Well its been a busy few weeks and i've finally found some time to update this.

The easter hols are nearly here!!!!! Only going home for a few days though; i need to stay in Aber to do my essays.

Last entry i mentioned i was going to the Fencing Club's Feburary big birthday bash. it went well and nice to see lots of people making fools of themsleves and dressing up in some really cool costumes. I didn't becuase i don't really like that kinda thing but only a few people seemed to be really put out by that. Photp's can be found here.

Last friday was mine and Lisa's one year anniversary! I bought her a 9ct White Gold Locket in the shape of a heart (quite expensive!) and took her for a meal to the clocktower resteraunt. We then went out afterwards to The Acadamey and to The Mill and so was fairly squiffy by the time we got back to mine.

At cadets we continue to train for the RAF WARMA 2-day March. Every weekend we do a 30+km Road March and last Sunday we were up to 34km. Im still not getting any cuts or blisters so it looks like im in better shape than when i did the 2-day march back in 2003. Getting slightly worried about the teams application becuase although i sent it off well over a week ago i still havent heard anything. Still i should know if we are in or not once the money goes out of my account. I've ended paying everyone's entry fee since one single check was needed and so the Squadron owes me £320!

Last weekend was also the Universities of Wales Fencing Championship. I only competed in the Foil competition on the Saturday due to the need to take the cadets on a practice march on the Sunday and plus i don't at the moment do Sabre or Epee. I did quite well overall. In the poules i won 3 of my bouts and lost 2 placing me 15th overall (out of 33) which was a significant improvement on the 2nd to last the previous year. I then faced a cardiff fencer called Kennedy who was ranked 18th, but despite i good start against him i lost 15-13 to him and so that was the end of that competition for me. However it has given me a lot of confidence for when i go for the RAF Service Competition and the Inter-Service Competition in May and June.

Subject:Journal Update

This time im not going to say "im starting again with a livejournal"

But ive just said it!

Well for a quick update since im about to go out.

Ive joined a new Uni society the "Aber GW Society" and been to my first full session tonight. Really geeky i know but what the hey. Played Kieran's Vampire Count Army with my High Elves at Warhammer Fantasy. Only 1000 pts but managed to win a Solid Victory with a victory points difference of around 400. Playing him again next week with 1,500 points. Hopefully i should also start getting some games in of WH40k with my Imperial Guard.

Now i doubt anyone who reads that will understand what im going on about but what the hey. On a lot less geeky note ive just heard back from the RAF Fencing Union who say that my commission in the RAF Volunteer Reserve means that i can compete in the RAF and inter-service championships. I am apparently not eligible for team selection but can compete as an individual. Yay for me! :o)

Going to finish there since my food is nearly ready and im off to the Glen tonight for the UWA Fencing Club's February big birthday bash. Everyone is dressing up (unlike me) so it will be interesting to see what everyone is wearing.
